We ordered a VO version of these pedals as soon as I saw them at at a European bike show. These are simply stunning pedals. reminiscent of old Campy pedals. bur how about a superlight 267g per pair? And that's including the whole pedals, not just the cages. 
They use high quality sealed cartridge bearings for long life and little to no maintenance. They are very smooth. They have alloy, not plastic, dust caps. The pedal bodies are polished, in the VO tradition. And the VO logo is discreetly etched on the pedal body.

With a 96mm x 60mm cage they are a perfect size for most folks. Now there is absolutely no good reason to get a loose bearing road pedal. Per pair.
